Show Fees

Horse Show Day Charges – $55/day

Charged per one horse and one rider combination. In the case of two or more riders to one horse, this daily show fee is then charged per rider. This fee covers the activities listed below and is charged every day of the show, including set-up and non-show days (unless the horse is not on the grounds):
Feeding
Stall Cleaning
Handling
Grooming (pro days only)
Wrapping
Bathing (on schooling day only)
Install/Remove Studs(pro days only)
Unbraiding (pro days only)
Training of horse/or rider on show and non-show days
Riding or coaching the rider in show classes

Tack Room/Ready Room/Grooming Stalls – Shared

This is divided equally among riders at the show, regardless of how many horses one rider may have.

Feed/Bedding – Shared

In the event that feed and/or bedding needs to be purchased at the show, the total cost will be divided by number of horses attending.

Trainer’s Show Expenses – Shared

Trainer’s show expenses will be divided equally among the riders (not horses) at the show. If a horse attends the show, but has no other rider except the trainer, the owner of the horse will be included in the number of riders. This fee covers the higher costs associated with travel and showing.

Tips for Show Help/Grooms – Billed on Invoice at $5/Day

I have decided to charge and invoice customers for the standard tip for show help (stall cleaning, feeding, watering, etc.). This charge will appear on your invoice so you no longer need to pay this tip to the groom personally. This will make it more convenient for customers to ensure their tips get to the grooms without having to catch them in person. It will also make it easier for me to acquire and assure quality show help as it allows me to guarantee that hard working grooms receive deserved tips. If you feel an individual groom has gone beyond what is covered by the required $5/day fee I’ll invoice for, you may tip them further in person.

Studs and Unbraiding
$5/day     Installation and removal of studs
$5/day     Unbraiding

Owners are responsible for providing studs and stud tools. Please keep them in a tidy box with your name on it in your tack trunk. For customers who pay the regular daily show fee, horses will be unbraided and studs installed/removed at no extra charge on pro days only. On all other days, customers will be responsible for unbraiding and installing/removing studs, or paying the fee for that service. Horses will be checked at the end of each day and if unbraiding or stud removal is required, that service will be performed and the customer charged appropriately.
