About Optional Supplements: You may wish to feed your horse other supplements beyond those
required (see above), such as rice bran, pellets, Fast Track, Farrier’s Formula, etc. At
this time, owners will need to supply any optional supplements and Allynbrooke will feed them at no extra charge.
About Medication: Any medication, whether bute, banamine, electrolytes, etc. will be billed
out on an as-used basis. If your horse doesn’t use any, you won’t get billed for any. If you provide your
own supplies in your trunk, they will be used for your horse only. If your supplies run out, or your horse
needs something you do not provide in your trunk, it will be purchased for your horse and you’ll be billed
for the item on your next month’s invoice. I’ll provide a list of medical supplies to have on hand
in your trunk if this is the route you choose to take.
About Clipping and Mane Pulling: Because their appearance reflects on the quality and professionalism of my
business, I’d like all of our horses to maintain a reasonably neat appearance, to include regular clipping and
well-groomed manes. For horses in full training, these services are covered in the program. Other customers may either take
care of these duties themselves or pay for them on an as-needed basis.
Please note that it is my intention to give everyone reasonable choices in how they keep their horses tidy. However, in
the unlikely event that a horse’s appearance is allowed to reflect poorly on the barn, I will give reasonable notice to the
owner before performing the necessary services to bring the horse’s appearance up to standard. The charges for those
services will appear on the owner’s next invoice.
